Operations Assistant

A leading international player in marine services, our client company offers to the most demanding oil & gas clients worldwide a full line of innovative, safe, high performance and new generation vessels and an expanded offer of offshore oil & gas services.


Duties & Responsibilities

 You will be responsible for supporting the Operations Department activities on communication, administration, logistics and organizational plan.

In order to achieve this, you will:

Be the Class point of contact: regular follow-up on regulations, class recommendations follow-up, coordination with relevant departments;

Be the Flag point of contact: regular follow-up on regulations, flag inspections follow-up, coordination with relevant departments;

Assist and report indicators as per processes;

Administrate the Operation portal;

Assist the Operations Director in organization, planning and any support in the day-to-day activities.

The Operations Assistant is linked functionally to the Operations Director.


You have a University degree;

You have relevant experience in a similar position. Knowledge of marine industry and/or oil and gas industry will be a plus (STCW, MLC 2006, flags, etc.);

You are extremely organized and able to manage priorities;

You are dynamic and polyvalent and you have excellent communication and customer-service skills;

You are able to work on multiple projects at the same time and to think and act quickly under pressure and meet deadlines;

You must be willing to work autonomously and be comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment;

You have a good knowledge of MS Office especially excel;

A perfect command of French and English is mandatory.
