Duties & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the process related to sourcing of offshore personnel and ensure timely supply of profiles matching client’s requirements with due consideration of the Company’s standards of recruitment.
You will contribute to business results and operational excellence through specific support to development of competences of BOG and BMSG personnel with due consideration with the Company’s standards
In order to achieve this, you will:
Ensure effectiveness of crew recruitment and training policies and processes;
Anticipate external sourcing with special focus on critical positions and clients futures needs by populating recruitment database;
Ensure skills assessment process is implemented and personnel’ skills development needs are consolidated and training activity carried out;
Design and/or organize training sessions and seminars (contents, logistics and accommodations);
Ensure that training course efficiency is properly measured and recorded;
Keep data base related to training centers/courses constantly updated and provide internal clients with necessary details on training courses/centers;
Responsible for preparing reports to management or as per client requirements;
Follow up enforcement and records of induction and skills development actions as per training plan and policies;
Build yearly training plan and related budget and follow up and control training expenses, budget YTD and charging;
Follow up on quality of services provided by R&T 3rd parties;
Optimize sourcing performance and develop use of sourcing tools including but not limited to social media, job boards, web page, internal communication, etc.
The Recruitment and Training Coordinator is linked functionally to the Crew Manager.
You have a bachelor’s degree in Management or Human Resources
You have at least 3 years’ experience in marine industry and strong knowledge and practice on marine and crewing standards (STCW, MLC 2006, crew changes, flags, etc.);
You have experienced with sourcing, recruitment, training, budget and project management;
You should have excellent communication, leadership and customer-service skills ;
You are extremely organized and you interact, produce and report with a professional approach at all times;
You are able to work on multiple projects at the same time, prioritize matters and meet deadlines;
You are dynamic, efficient, reactive, and versatile;
You must be willing to work autonomously and be comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment;
You have a good knowledge of MS Office especially excel;
A perfect command of French and English is mandatory.
Contract: Full permanent contract based in Mauritius
